A New Chapter for Best Care: Our Move to 2405 Main Street

After more than 50 years of serving Winnipeg's North End, Best Care Dry Cleaners marked an important milestone in 2023 when we moved from our longtime home at 998 Main Street to our new North Winnipeg location at 2405 Main Street in Ridgecrest Centre.

While the address changed, everything our customers have come to know and trust about Best Care came with us.

More Than 50 Years in Winnipeg

Best Care Dry Cleaners was founded by Tony and Irene Loscerbo in 1970. From the beginning, the business was built around quality workmanship, personal service, and taking exceptional care of our customers and their garments.

Over the decades, Best Care grew alongside the community. Generations of Winnipeg families trusted us with everything from everyday clothing and business attire to wedding gowns, winter coats, household items, and garments holding special memories.

That's what made leaving 998 Main Street bittersweet. It wasn't simply an old storefront—it represented an important part of our family's history and the story of Best Care.

Why We Made the Move

A business that has been around since 1970 has seen a lot of change.

The way people dress has changed. Technology has changed. Cleaning equipment has changed. And the way our customers want to do business with us has changed too.

Moving to 2405 Main Street gave us the opportunity to create a more modern and convenient location while continuing to serve our longtime North Winnipeg customers.

Our Ridgecrest Centre location offers easier access and the conveniences today's customers appreciate, including 24-hour drop-off and secure 24-hour pickup lockers.

It allowed us to move forward without leaving behind the community that has supported Best Care for so many years.

The Same Best Care, Just a New Address

Through every change we've made over the years, we've tried to preserve the things that shouldn't change.

We're still a local, family-owned Winnipeg business. We still believe in knowing our customers, providing honest advice, investing in our team, and doing everything we can to return each garment looking its best.

At the same time, we continue to invest in new technology, environmentally responsible cleaning methods, modern equipment, and convenient services that make professional garment care easier for our customers.

That's how we honour the traditions Best Care was founded on while continuing to evolve for the next generation.

Some have been coming to Best Care for decades. Others are second- and even third-generation customers whose families first trusted us many years ago. And every year, we're fortunate to welcome new customers through our doors.

Our move from 998 Main Street to 2405 Main Street represented much more than a change of address. It was the beginning of another chapter in a story that started in Winnipeg in 1970—and one we're very proud to continue.
